<p>這個畫面對90年代的電腦遊戲玩家應該很有印象吧，不過這不是1994年上市的著名大樓建設遊戲《SimTower》（中文譯名直接就是《模擬大樓》），而是2016年夏天推出的新遊戲《Project Highrise》。</p>
<p>《SimTower》經過廿二年已成為模擬遊戲中的經典，但它不像《SimCity》不斷有後來者競爭，大樓建設遊戲在這一段時間只有寥寥可數的產品，《Yoot Towers》、《Vegas Towers  HD》、《Mega Mall Story》這些也未必是人人必玩之作，令我不禁要問，這個遊戲類型真的不值得開發嗎？</p>

<p>《Project Highrise》的出現令不少《SimTower》愛好者引頸以待，從開發商Somasim公開的圖片、影片看，很肯定這個遊戲是《SimTower》的進化版，而且進化的部分暫時看起來很理想，主要加入以下部分：</p>
<ol>
<li>電力、水管、電話線、有線電視天線、寬頻：需要由玩家「拉線」將這些基本設施放進大樓，部分單位必須設置某些設施，才能吸引個別用戶遷入。</li>
<li>大樓服務設施：例如郵件收發站、商務中心、樽裝水供應站，部分單位必須設置某些設施，才能吸引個別用戶遷入。</li>
<li>住宅、辦公室、食肆、商場單位都分小、中、大、特大。</li>
<li>每種單位加入不同類型：例如辦公室會分為會計師事務所、律師事務所、廣告公司等等，每種公司的遷入要求、租金都不一樣。</li>

<p>《SimTower》其中一個毛病就是太簡單，你不能控制租戶種類，辦公室千篇一律，只有透過升級至「五星級」獲得新元素，玩至中段會開始覺得變化不太，變得沉悶，而且租戶會突然一次過撤退，收入大減令遊戲變成「死局」；《Project Highrise》似乎針對這方面改善，增加遊戲可控制元素，又會加入一些目標，你必須先達成指定要求，才可以增加租戶種類，增添中段「可玩性」。</p>
<p>《Project Highrise》更可以建設「子母樓」，就像上圖般一幢辦公室大樓，另一幢是商店、食肆，也可以設計不同形狀的大樓，不似《SimTower》只可以像四方形。</p>

<p>畫面方面也算理想，但目前試玩片段的大樓最多也只有十層左右，而遊戲的目標應該與《SimTower》差不多，最高可以到達100層+地下，當大樓內人口變多時會否拖慢，現階段就不得而知。</p>
<p>模擬遊戲的一大挑戰是如何應付中、後段的玩家需求，絕大多數模擬遊戲一開始玩都會覺得不錯，但進入中段是可變化的空間會減少，不像RPG（角色扮演）、FPS（第一身射擊遊戲）可以增加後段的難度來留住玩家，《SimTower》、《Simcity(2013)》就是敗在中、後段；反而《Civilization》系列做得不錯，玩家可以在中、後段改變戰略，例如初期專注開發經濟，中段開發軍事，後期集中科技，也可以反過來玩，各個階段可調整的元素很多，令遊戲百玩不厭，《Project Highrise》的開發者稱自己是《Civilization》的粉絲，《Civilization V》更玩了2000小時，加上研究遊戲時曾經前往商業大樓考察，相信他應該會明白一個模擬遊戲要如何「耐久」，所以《Project Highrise》這個遊戲是值得期待，它會在今個夏天正式推出，屆時可以透過Steam買得到。<a href="http://leohandbook.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/05/leo_blog_small.jpg"><img class="size-full wp-image-91 alignnone" src="http://leohandbook.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/05/leo_blog_small.jpg" alt="leo_blog_small" width="15" height="15" /></a></p>
